This hotel is located a couple of minutes' walk from both Lake Geneva and the Geneva train station, as well as within 10 minutes walk from old town Geneva. I chose it specifically because we were doing a tour to Mont Blanc and Chamonix, and I wanted to be close to the train station where the tour started. The hotel itself is beautiful. It's on a quiet street, which I loved! The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish, and they even had AC, a big plus in Switzerland. We were also able to open the window to get some fresh air. All Staff members I asked for assistance were very helpful. I do have to give special accolades to Karim and Alejandro, though. They really went above and beyond! I am so grateful for their kindness, friendliness, and their help! We tried 3 restaurants in the area at the recommendation of the front desk staff, and they were all delicious! Best service at Casanova, we had a Thai waiter and he was very attentive, funny and outgoing; The Indian restaurant right behind our hotel, and Restaurant Les Armures in the old town, which is the oldest restaurant in Geneva. Table service in Europe is a bit different than the US. They take quite a bit longer to come to the table and in between courses. This is great for digestion, but it turns a meal into an almost 3 hr experience. It's also not as customary to tip, but I did based on quality of service and attentiveness.

We were very impressed with the service and amenities at Hotel Rotary. The front desk workers speak very good English and were happy to answer our many questions. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a mini bar we used as a fridge and a TV with chromecast. Breakfast was delicious - we bought the more expensive 37CF breakfast which offered oatmeal, eggs, bacon, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal, fruit, cheese and cold cuts and more. Service at breakfast was also friendly and attentive. There’s a small but functional gym in the basement (cardio machines, weights up to 20lbs, bench). Plus the location is PERFECT to get to both sides of the lake, the train station, many chocolate shops and restaurant areas. Highly recommended!!

The hotel is an a great location between the main train station and the lake, so convenient for everything. The hotel staff and atmosphere are very welcoming and you immediately feel at home. The room was a good size, again homely, and very well fitted out. The bed mattress is to "die for" and very very comfortable. Having the mini-bar included in the room cost is a nice touch. All in all bearing in mind the star rating of the hotel and that it was New Years Eve, great value for money.

The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, bus stops are ~5 minute walk, the Geneva Bus Station is 3 minutes walk, and the train station is 10 minute walk. It is also 2 minute walk from the lake with a lot of restaurants surrounding it. The staff were amazing and very helpful, always ready to answer any questions, I didn't face a single hassle while staying there. And on top of that, on my birthday, they left me a beautiful present in the room!

The breakfast was very tasty esp scrambled eggs with the works and it was enough. The gentleman was lovely and he made sure we got our breakfast quickly so we could get our plane. The location is great too. 5 min walk from the lake. The gentleman at reception got us a great restaurant lastminute for dinner overlooking the fountain. It was perfect
